Patata team
We are a university team in our fourth year of Multimedia Engineering at the UA, developing LOUV, a web project based on PBL (Project-Based Learning) methodology that allows users to design rings like never before. We are committed to turning challenges into real solutions.
Our project
3D Ring Editor - Louv
LOUV it is the future of 3D jewelry design, because it turns the process of gifting a special piece into a unique experience. In an immersive digital environment, users can create a fully customized ring in 360°. In addition, thanks to an intuitive 3D viewer powered by WebGL technology, it is possible to explore every detail with great precision.

PBL: our working methodology
Project-Based Learning (PBL) is the methodology through which we finally apply everything we have been learning, but in a much more real and practical way. Instead of just working with theory or small exercises, we work on a large project, usually as a team, involving design, programming, audiovisual production, management, and a bit of creative madness.
Collaborative work
Project development in a group of 4–6 members.
Project Management
Task management and time dedicated to them in each iteration, as well as the generation of related documentation.
Front-End Development and UX/UI Design
Creation and design of accessible and functional web interfaces using tools and frameworks such as Angular.
Implementation of a Custom Graphics Engine
Development of a graphics engine from scratch using WebGL.
Server Infrastructure and Security
Secure configuration and management of a distributed infrastructure.
Monitoring, Metrics, and KPIs
Data analysis and monitoring of users, system components, and performance.
Content and Social Media Management
Implementation and management of content through CMS and social media.
Chatbot Creation
Design and implementation of an intelligent assistant capable of interacting and answering questions about the project.
