Our designs

Every ring starts with an idea.
Before the shine of metal or the reflection of a gem, there is a concept.

Before starting to design, it is essential to define the identity of the piece.
Because from the sketch to the 3D model not only does the tool change: the intention evolves.

Will it be a classic, modern, or minimalist ring?
Is it intended for an engagement, a special gift, or as a versatile piece for everyday use?

Defining these initial aspects allows the design to have coherence and purpose from the first stroke.

Inspiration and references

Once the concept is established, the search for inspiration begins. Platforms like Pinterest become a constant source of visual references, where it is possible to discover styles, material combinations, and current trends.

It is also common to consult specialized jewelry magazines and blogs, where every year new aesthetic trends and techniques are anticipated.

Inspiration does not consist of copying, but in analyzing shapes, proportions, and details that can be reinterpreted in one's own design.

From the sketch to the structure

With clear ideas, the time comes to put them down. Making several sketches allows exploring different possibilities before making a final decision.

Once the base design is selected, it is necessary to define technical aspects such as:

In a traditional jewelry store, the design is usually unique and fixed. However, at Louv we work with customizable rings, which means thinking from the beginning about the versatility of the model: what types of settings it can support, which stone cuts fit best, or which profiles can adapt without losing aesthetic coherence.

3D modeling

Once the design is validated on paper, the digital phase begins.

We currently use Blender, a professional 3D modeling software that allows us to precisely build every detail of the piece.

Modeling is one of the most demanding stages of the process. The small size of the rings, the number of details, and the need for precision in proportions make every millimeter count. In addition, since it is an application with multiple possible combinations, we must generate different variations of the base model.

Materials, light, and realism

A 3D model is not complete without proper material and lighting treatment.

At Louv we seek the most realistic result possible. To achieve this, we work with materials that accurately simulate metals such as gold or silver, as well as different finishes and types of stone.

Lighting also plays a fundamental role: it is responsible for highlighting volumes, reflections, and details, providing depth and credibility to the digital piece.

From the model to the interactive editor

Finally, the design is integrated into Louv's 3D editor.

Here, any user can easily customize their ring: modify materials, select gems, and view the result in real time from any angle.

Louv's goal is to transfer a traditionally complex and technical process into an accessible and intuitive experience, where creativity and technology work together.

Because designing a piece of jewelry should not be limited to specialists, but open to anyone who wants to create a piece with their own meaning.
