However, at Louv we work with customizable rings, which means thinking from the beginning about the versatility of the model: what types of settings it can support, which stone cuts fit best, or which profiles can adapt without losing aesthetic coherence.
Once the design is validated on paper, the digital phase begins.
We currently use Blender, a professional 3D modeling software that allows us to precisely build every detail of the piece.
Modeling is one of the most demanding stages of the process. The small size of the rings, the number of details, and the need for precision in proportions make every millimeter count. In addition, since it is an application with multiple possible combinations, we must generate different variations of the base model.
A 3D model is not complete without proper material and lighting treatment.
At Louv we seek the most realistic result possible. To achieve this, we work with materials that accurately simulate metals such as gold or silver, as well as different finishes and types of stone.
Lighting also plays a fundamental role: it is responsible for highlighting volumes, reflections, and details, providing depth and credibility to the digital piece.
Finally, the design is integrated into Louv's 3D editor.
